I’ve never had brussel sprouts before but let me tell you they are delicious! If you are trying them for the first time too I recommend this recipe as the sweetness of the maple syrup takes the bitter edge off the brussel sprouts.
Maple Balsamic Roasted Veggies | Makes 6 1 Cup Servings
- 5 Cups Brussel Sprouts (Halved)
- 1 Cup Baby Carrots
- 2 Shallots
- 1/4 Cup Organic Pure Maple Syrup
- 1/4 Cup Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- 2 Tbsp Balsamic Vinegar
- 1 Tsp Sea Salt
Preheat oven to 425 degrees fahrenheit. Add veggies to a large bowl. Add maple syrup, olive oil, balsamic vinegar, and salt. Mix to combine. Add to baking sheets and put in the oven. Bake until lightly golden, about 15 mins, but keep checking it so it doesn’t burn.
